Microsoft has confirmed the touchscreen media device!

At E3, Microsoft will show off how Zune integrates into Xbox LIVE.
It seems that the Zune music store will collide with the xbox marketplace. It only makes sense and this is a smart move. The iTunes-like music service would now be universal across these Microsoft platforms. The Guardian reports on a subscription service to be offered to Live users, allowing unlimited song playback and 10 song downloads a month. Zune news is getting more interesting lately.

Apple = Hypocritical and Immature

“Hot Dog Down a Hallway” is the name of a game. That isn’t the most ridiculous thing in this story. That would be Apple’s policies for the almighty app store. Metaversal Studios Inc. latest update has been rejected by the nice folks at Apple, who have banned the sale of the game due to company standards for sexually suggestive innuendos involving launching a hot dog down a hallway. A previous version of the game remains for sale on the store. I have not played this iPhone game, but one thing is for sure. Between this and the previous Nine Inch Nails debacle, Apple is stupid sometimes.

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Nintendo of America has announced plans to release all three Metroid Prime games on one disc.

Metroid Prime 1 and 2 will be enhanced with a widescreen mode and Wii controls. The collection will feature a reward system including artwork and accomplishments as seen in Metroid Prime 3.

Rom hacker/bender Dylan Hayes has gone through the tileset and converted the whole game to mere hit boxes. Removing the top layer of paint illustrates the point of great gameplay mechanics behind the classic game.

Sonic The Hedgehog on the iPhone was released.

Classic Sonic with seven zones including Green Hill Zone and Labyrinth Zone, and the classic special stages.

View in full-screen or ‘Arcade’ which has an on-screen virtual controller. How well will an iphone port hold up? If its anything like the GBA port that was released a few years back, it would suck. Something not new to the Sonic franchise. Sucking.
